VGTimes is right now at CES 2026 in Las Vegas! The Consumer Electronics Show is one of the world's largest annual trade shows dedicated to consumer electronics and new technologies. It brings together leading companies presenting the latest products in computer technology, gadgets, home appliances, automobiles, gaming devices, and other tech innovations. CES often features the most interesting and promising devices that will hit the market in the near future. Rodion Ilin simply couldn't stay away and flew to Las Vegas: 23 hours in the air and two layovers — and now our latest photo report is on the website. By the way, the material will be updated daily, so check back!

DAY 0. Arrival

I was able to receive a press badge immediately upon arrival (January 4, 2026). The exhibition organizers approached the issue correctly, and the badge pickup stand was located at the airport for promotion. After all, the press flocks to the event from all over the world!

It's hard to resist strolling through the bright lights of Las Vegas at night, even though you've barely stepped off the plane.

DAY 1. What's inside the Las Vegas Convention Center

We called this section Day 1, even though the exhibition was still officially closed on January 5th, and the booths were still being actively built. Moreover, the press wasn't allowed into the exhibition halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, located on the wonderfully named Paradise Road (only the lobby), but Rodion Ilin managed to sneak in while security was distracted! Our mission is to be the first to show off the most interesting things. And here's what we saw.

CES 2026 booths.

Perhaps air taxis like these are the future.

Furthermore, several air transport options were on display at CES 2026.

Modern boats and motorboats look like props from a sci-fi movie.

New technologies are also being used for land transportation.

Including sports bikes.

Some modern cars are styled after classics from the second half of the 20th century.

Siemens demonstrated its PAVE360 Automotive technology, which, among other things, allows for the creation of digital twins of cars and real-time tracking. This technology will expand driver assistance and autopilot capabilities.

Qualcomm specializes in chips for smartphones and tablets. But at CES 2026, it unveiled a concept car of the future, the Snapdragon Digital Chassis. They promise a virtual voice assistant, facial recognition, personalized settings for each passenger, noise cancellation, and much more.

A full-screen interface and prompts instead of the usual transparent windshield seems like an interesting solution.

This is what a car dashboard looks like.

The main trend of the exhibition is the active implementation of artificial intelligence in a wide variety of areas of life.

However, modern technological solutions are used not only in transport, but also in agriculture.

Furthermore, tractors come in a wide variety of sizes.

Combine harvesters like these bring to mind games like Farming Simulator 25.

And here's that oneThis is what modern fire trucks look like.

Yarbo robots can remove snow and debris, as well as mow lawns.

However, there are also suggestions for those who want to manage their lawn themselves.

It's hard to surprise today's audience with humanoid robots. Their appearance changes little, but their internals are developing rapidly.

By 2026, portable consoles have become fashionable again. This is what the Claw A8 from MSI looks like. Its average retail price is 100,000 rubles. We dedicated two separate articles to the products of this company. You can find the first and second article by following the links.

Of course, there are plenty of modern laptops at CES.

DAY 2

Such single-seat vehicles look interesting, but we have many questions about driver safety in real city or highway conditions.

However, single-seat aerial vehicles appear even more dangerous for the pilot.

It's noteworthy that such Nvidia devices are controlled using the PlayStation 5 controller called DualSence.

Today, robots are used for a wide variety of purposes. For example, they can take high-quality photographs.

And also play musical instruments.

Perform delicate work with electronics.

And play cards.

In practice, engineers often don't need to design a robot's body — it's enough to create its functional part, such as an arm. These devices involuntarily bring to mind sci-fi films, such as Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

Modern technologies are also used in the food industry, for example, to dispense ice cream.

Robots in hats evoke associations with futuristic Westerns.

VR games are still overshadowed by traditional PC and console titles that don't require VR headsets. Meanwhile, similar technologies are rapidly developing. For example, at CES 2025, the Omni One was unveiled, a VR treadmill that allows you to jump, run, and crouch. Naturally, all actions will be reflected in the game itself. For more details, see our article.

Artificial intelligence is used in a wide variety of devices today, including cute toys.

Many gamers and movie lovers would love to have such a screen. However, not every home has the space to accommodate such a TV.

An alternative option is to use a projector. They are not as bulky and produce an excellent picture.

Going to exhibitions is a tiring experience. After hours on your feet, you want to lie down in a comfortable chair and relax, at least for a while.

The exhibition devotes a lot of attention to classic games from the 80s and 90s. These arcade-style consoles look interesting, but they're not particularly comfortable to play. They're primarily collector's items for fans.

For gaming, it's better to buy a device with a more familiar button layout. For example, the Atari Gamestation Go, which resembles the Nintendo Switch in appearance.

Surely many of you have had similar handhelds, which you simply called "Tetris."

A separate stand is dedicated to various controllers.

The shape of these gamepads resembles SNES controllers. The main difference is the presence of thumbsticks. Thanks to them, the devices can also be used with modern games.

In the future, we may have to completely abandon gamepads, mice, and keyboards — all control will be done with our thoughts. You can learn about how this works in our article.

Such displays demonstrate the waterproofness of various devices.

CES 2026 also featured futuristic bicycles.

Retro aesthetic enthusiasts will definitely appreciate this. Many of you have probably seen similar radios at your grandparents' homes.

The Afeela is an electric car being developed jointly by Sony and Honda.

DAY 3

Boston Dynamics was already producing dog-like robots in the mid-2000s. Of course, today their functionality is much broader.

Some robots look like radio-controlled cars.

And others can swim underwater like amphibians.

Robots can also be used to clean pools.

These figurines evoke associations with the liquid terminator T-1000, played by Robert Patrick.

Innovative technologies are also actively used in medicine, for example, dentistry.

And this is what modern engines look like.

We conducted an interview with an NVIDIA representative, where you can learn how DLSS 4.5 technology works.

A separate article is dedicated to Razer products.

These toys are a bit reminiscent of labubu, only without the creepy toothy smiles.

The only thing I want after being on my feet all day.

And this is far from the only way to relax right at the exhibition.

Artificial intelligence is even being used in shoes. It brings to mind the film Back to the Future Part 2.

DAY 4

A computer styled like a makeup kit looks like an accessory from the new Barbie movie.

The Nintendo 64 sold well, but ultimately fell in the shadow of the PlayStation One.

This is what the digital avatar of the VGTimes editor-in-chief looks like.

With a computer like this, you don't need to worry about the system requirements of new games.

Japanese aesthetics blend perfectly with modern technology.

Windshields with an interface that helps while driving still look futuristic.

The book The Sage of Oz has been adapted numerous times. For example, in 2024, the musical Wicked was released, and a year later, we saw a direct sequel to the story.

No, iPolish has no affiliation with Apple products. It's an independent company that demonstrated false nails that can change color at the user's discretion.

DAY 5. After CES

The release of the second season of the Fallout series has brought increased attention to its characters. Furthermore, there are rumors of remasters of the third installment and Fallout: New Vegas.

The online Fallout 76 evoked a mixed reaction from fans of the series. But over time, it has developed its own audience. The photo was taken at the National Atomic Testing Museum in Las Vegas.

The classic The Wizard of Oz is shown on a giant sphere.

And this is what the theater looks like from the outside.
