Is it possible to forget these moments? These tank battles, mountains of corpses of people and animals? That climb up sheer cliffs? This long way with telephone cable from point to point? No!

Of course, among the new lines of shooters, among all these attractions, the good old Call of Duty looks faded. But if you look closely, you can only see the “soul” in it. It's hard to explain.. This game is about what actually happened (embellished of course). Perhaps this is why we feel some pain, we feel the realism of what is happening. If most shooters are an attraction, then Call of Duty 2 is a black and white film, old, but so true, so close to us.

Call of Duty... Do you remember what these words mean? I remember, and I believe that not all parts of the franchise deserve such a title. It's the "call of duty," damn it! Silly wars of the future — get lost! Now, directly to the game.

Campaigns

The game tells the story of the terrifying events of World War II from different time periods and locations, presenting real historical moments. The game features 3 campaigns and 4 active characters.

Vasily Ivanovich Kozlov, a Red Army soldier, represents the Soviet campaign. Playing as this character, we participate in the battles for Stalingrad.

I've already completed Call of Duty 2 more than 15 times. I still play it, at that time it was the best shooter in my opinion. The graphics are at the highest level, optimization, excellent brightness, colors, color correction, everything is just super!

The toy is quite good, but in my opinion it is not superior to its older brother, the first part of the legendary game series. I really like the graphical component. Interesting and exciting missions, it’s a pity there aren’t enough of them. It’s also very helpful that the Persian’s health regenerates and there is no need to look for first aid kits all over the map...

“Because we have too few real grenades. A grenade should finish off a fascist, understand?!” A true classic.

Call of Duty 2 feels like a technically improved version of the first game. The developers have beefed up the graphics, expanded the scale of the locations, and added spectacle to the combat scenes, making them look impressive. However, the campaign itself felt less engaging than the original game. Some missions feel repetitive and drawn out, partly due to the excessive length of the missions.

The difference is especially noticeable in the ending. Remembering the unforgettable storming of the Reichstag from the first game, the sequel's ending went almost unnoticed for me—it lacked the same power and solemnity.
