Castle of Heart: Retold

An improved version of Castle of Heart, released in 2018. The player takes on the role of the warrior Svaran, bewitched by an evil sorcerer, who has turned his body to stone. To combat the devastating curse, the hero must constantly fight, or he will gradually lose his limbs and the ability to wield weapons.

The game offers a journey across four Slavic lands, where mythical creatures await—from devils and ghouls to water spirits—as well as intense boss fights. The arsenal includes both melee weapons and long-range options like crossbows.

The new version features reworked animations, character models, and lighting, remixed music, and improved controls, interface, and battle balance. The story is told through updated dialogue and completely redesigned cutscenes, with alternate endings unlocked by collecting the crystals of the goddess Mokosh.
