In many games, gamers are given the opportunity to become a real spy or secret agent: their activities involve completing secret missions and contracts, silent assassinations, and using special devices to successfully complete the task. Naturally, detection of such a spy by enemies is almost always a failure.
Spy action games tell about different times: the gamer can find himself during the Second World War, in our time or in the distant future. A spy's goal could be to silently kill an important person, steal valuable data, or scout an enemy base to assess the situation.
Games about spies are most often first- or third-person action games, sometimes with RPG elements.
