Rise of the Ronin

Gameplay and story are excellent, gfx are outdated yes, but this aint no Ghost of Tsushima, nor does it aspire to be, so... Its a great game, worth playing, overall. Recommended.

I enjoyed the game, playing the Japanese version on a PS5 Slim. I liked the game; it has good graphics and technical components. My only complaint was when I beat the game halfway through, and during the minigames in the Kyoto arena, enemies kept throwing me off the balcony. Otherwise, the game is excellent for beginners and experienced RPG players alike.

The hero of this game tries to help people, but at the same time tries to avenge his dead brother. To do this, he commits numerous acts of violence, killing many people and animals. Sometimes the player is given a choice: to spare a person or take his life.

This is a very cruel and bloody action game. Players use a variety of bladed weapons (including swords, katanas, and poles), as well as rifles, Japanese throwing stars, and other weapons. The bloodshed that occurs against both humans and animals borders on excessive, as do instances of beheadings and dismemberment. This is a very bloody game.
