If we describe the pros and cons of the Witcher, the cons are so insignificant that they pale in comparison with the pros.
The world in the game is very huge, and the larger the world, the more difficult it is to diversify it and add all sorts of small details, but in The Witcher they didn’t miss this, you can go into any house, and each is full of its own details. The plot is simply perfect, it will make anyone's jaw drop, I am quite critical when evaluating the game, but there is simply nothing to complain about here.
The combat system is quite interesting and you need to get used to it, even if you have played all the parts, they are different.
Side quests are no worse than the plot itself, sometimes they contain very epic moments, for example, a meeting with very old acquaintances, but I will do without spoilers. In addition to side quests and the story, there are many interesting entertainments that may interest you, such as Gwent, a game that you will be drawn into and then will not be able to put down. There are also street fights and horse races.
Among the minuses are:
- Lack of co-op, which could diversify the game much more and add bright moments.
- Non-synchronous voice acting of dialogues in Russian.
- Bad water physics (jump into the water from 70 meters and the water will react with a pre-scripted animation at the 2005 level).
- Bugs can be found often. For example, a horse hanging in the air, etc.
But all these disadvantages are insignificant and little noticeable compared to the advantages of the game itself; I can safely call it the best RPG game I have ever seen, and the game of the year. This is a game that can easily be played through more than a few times.
