The game is one of the best in its genre (survival)
First of all, I want to say about the low hardware and memory requirements for the game, but for co-op you need a good Internet. Even a solo passage will be interesting, but playing with friends is much better.
From the advantages of the game I can say:
+ Good combat similar to souls games
+ Leveling up your skills (the more you do it, the better you become at it)
+ Unique food consumption system (you won’t starve, but it is advisable to eat well))
+ Construction (in a beautiful and convenient base, comfort is the most important thing))
+ The presence of a simple plot in the form of killing certain bosses
+ Biomes, each of them is rich in its own living creatures and opponents , resources and structures
+ Weather conditions, wind, change of day and night, all this adds a certain ambiance
+ Trolls are best friends in resource extraction
+ Lots of modifications if you get bored with simple Valheim
And now I want to talk about some disadvantages that may put someone off:
- Grind and farming. At times you will have to extract certain resources in large quantities and carry it all to the base. You can simplify this in the world settings, but true Vikings will not appreciate this.
- The difficulty of solo play in the later stages, you will have to work hard if you haven’t found any comrades.
- Searching for certain places/creatures, sometimes you have to go around half the world to find someone or something
There is a lot more that I would like to tell about this game, but it’s better to know it all yourself. A very good game for a group of friends; you will spend dozens of hours in this Scandinavian world. Personally, I’ve already played 500+ hours and I’m not going to stop
