War of the Worlds (2005)

War of the Worlds — You can move the tripod as well as the main turret to target waves of enemies. Each level ends with a boss attack in which you fight a giant tank, submarine or flying bomber, or prevent a ferry carrying passengers from escaping. Many events follow the film, and the order of the locations is also maintained. Although you will spend a lot of time fighting off enemies, time is the most important factor. You are much stronger than your enemies, so they will often kamikaze you to slow you down. Buildings will also make it difficult for you to move steadily and need to be removed as well.
