Steam support has finally clarified why Helldivers 2 was removed from sales in regions where the PlayStation Network is not supported. The game is still not available for purchase in more than 170 countries.
«The game is not available for certain regions by decision of the publisher,» this is how the service support responded to one of the Reddit users.
Steam recently removed the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima from sales in 180 countries. The reason was the inability to create a PSN account in these regions, which is required to play the game. Some players have already begun to receive forced refunds for pre-orders.
Let us recall that Sony stock began to rapidly fall in price after the withdrawal of the publisher's games from Steam.
