The creators of the new Anno released a humorous video with the wishes of the players
The developers of Anno 117: Pax Romana took a creative approach to communicating with the audience by releasing a humorous video with the wishes of the players. In some answers, the creators hid hints about future game mechanics.
The video was stylized as a speech from a town crier. The presenter, dressed in a Roman toga, voiced the most interesting comments from gamers about the future game, accompanying them with comments. Thus, a player with the nickname Minipiman wanted to see the Mediterranean in the new part because he «needs olives.» In response to this, the herald named him Governor Olive. Another user suggested that the game would feature aqueducts that could be used as «trains» to deliver water, to which the herald asked, puzzled, «In the name of Jupiter, what are 'trains'?»
The video also made a couple of interesting comments about future mechanics in the game. For example, belief in the gods will play a role in building society, and the game itself will have no shortage of unrest and riots.
Anno 117: Pax Romana will be released in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
