The online community compared the PS5 version of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and the unofficial PC port
The developers of the unofficial PC port of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 have achieved some good success. Players compared it frame by frame with the PS5 version using several cutscenes and gameplay segments, sharing the result on YouTube.
The video appeared on the RTX 4070 channel. The blogger launched the latest version of the build on Ryzen 5 3600 and GeForce RTX 4070. It is clear that the game began to look almost as good as the console version. True, in some cases there are still problems with shaders and lighting. Otherwise, the PC port compares favorably with the «official» game in terms of image quality.
By the way, the Brazilian team rebuilt the build almost from scratch. At the time of the leak from Insomniac Games, the assembly did not have textures and shaders. Now you can play the game from start to finish.
Before that, a new gameplay demo from another «escaped» game by the studio appeared online. Thanks to it, you can see that Marvel's Wolverine does implement hero regeneration.
