New S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 mod speeds up the game by removing shader compilation
Technical problems did not bypass S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, and modders took up fixing the shooter. An enthusiast with the nickname KZekai removed the repeated compilation of shaders, accelerating the launch of the game and even increasing the FPS.
The No Shader Warmup mod disables preliminary compilation of shaders, due to which the game took quite a long time to load. Users have already noticed that the addon speeds up the launch and even solves the problem with the frame rate. The process itself really created unnecessary loads without changing anything in the game files. However, before updating the drivers, it is better to remove the mod and reinstall it again for correct operation. In addition, there is a conflict with another addon that activates the console.
You can download the No Shader Warmup mod at this link. To install it, you need to copy the files to the game folder along this path: Stalker2\Content\Paks\.
Another popular mod was previously released for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, which solves the problem of slowdowns even on top-end video cards.
