New Arc Line, a steampunk RPG combining magic and technology, launches on PC
Publisher Fulqrum Publishing and developer Dreamate have released the steampunk RPG New Arc Line in early access on Steam, where it currently holds a 95% rating.
New Arc Line features turn-based mechanics, requiring players to rely heavily on their tactical skills in battles.
The story revolves around the sudden emergence of the Iron Plague in the gleaming city of New Arc, a symbol of progress and technology. The protagonist sets out to find a cure for this disease to save their family. To do so, they venture into an unfamiliar continent, seemingly filled with incredible wonders.
Throughout the game, players will need to form their own group of allies who will assist the main character in completing quests and battling enemies. The game offers the ability to craft equipment and enhance magical abilities. Additionally, there is a certain degree of non-linearity, allowing players to choose whether to play as a noble hero or a ruthless villain.
At the start of New Arc Line, players can select their character's race (human or elf), background, and customize their appearance. Currently, the game is only available in English, but the developers promise to add more languages after the full release.
New Arc Line is available for purchase on Steam with a 15% discount (valid until December 4). The game is also available on GOG and the Epic Games Store.
