The Outlast Trials Receives Major Project Breach Update with New Content and Challenges

Developers from Red Barrels have released a major update for The Outlast Trials titled Project Breach. The creators also unveiled a new gameplay trailer and shared details about the update.
Features of the Project Breach Update:
- Launch of the second season of The Outlast Trials;
- New trial area — Downtown;
- New enemy — The Pitcher;
- New character — Amelia Collier. She is an escaped Reagent hiding during the Project Breach trial;
- Three new challenges;
- New Deluxe Catalog;
- New limited-time event — Winter Kills;
- New equipment — a universal tool designed to disable electronic devices, unlock locked containers, and doors;
- New boosters: Evasion, Short Circuit, and Bandage Expert;
- Increased maximum therapy level;
- New customization types;
- Enhanced psychosis;
- Improved escalation therapy;
- Various fixes.
"Set within the latest Outlast Trials environment, DOWNTOWN, players will be tasked with turning Franco's devious cabaret against itself", — the update description states.
The Outlast Trials is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. The game has 93% positive reviews on Steam. By the way, it's currently available at a 50% discount (valid until December 19) for $20.
