«It's Going to Be an Amazing Game»: The Developer of the Multiplayer Witcher Is Confident in the Project's Success

It was recently announced that CD Projekt RED has acquired The Molasses Flood, the studio behind the mysterious The Witcher: Project Sirius. In light of the deal, one of the developers said that the game will be amazing and will go down in history.
The Molasses Flood design director and co-founder Damian Isla announced on his LinkedIn that he is leaving the company after the merger with CDPR. However, in a farewell letter, he assured the audience that the unification of teams will have a positive impact on the development of Project Sirius:
To be ultra clear: this is a GOOD AND HEALTHY thing for the studio, and it was long-expected. It breaks down some organizational barriers, and better integrates the TMF team with the rest of the amazing CDPR org. Overall, it shows a very bright future for Project Sirius (aka "the multiplayer Witcher game," of which I was the Design Director for three years). It's going to be an amazing game, one for the books, and I can't wait until the rest of the world learns about what we've been working on.
He explained his departure from the studio by saying that it was time for him to take a break from development.
According to some sources, The Witcher: Project Sirius is being developed as an action-adventure game with an emphasis on co-op and PvE, as well as a social component and stylized graphics. However, in 2023, the project was rebooted, and the current state of the game is unknown, as is the release date.
CD Projekt RED recently published a financial report, mentioning the release window for The Witcher 4. Apparently, the game will be released only after 2027.
