Rumor: Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 Plot and Gameplay Details Leaked Online

A Reddit user with the nickname Bigbyy, who told about the new Prototype, also shared information about the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. All information, according to him, was obtained during participation in testing.
Below are the most important details from the insider. Note that everything listed should be taken as a rumor, but journalist Tom Henderson confirmed that some details coincide with what he knows:
- events will unfold in 2035 and continue the story of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, Frank Woods and Alex Mason will return;
- the story mode will support co-op for up to four players;
- a large open-world map called "Avalon" will appear;
- the Omnimovement movement mechanics will return, sliding on walls will also appear;
- remakes of popular maps like Transzit will appear — some will be designed in a futuristic Japanese style;
- Zombies mode will become more story-oriented and will include difficulty levels, a huge map and a "wonder vehicle";
- multiplayer will be able to support matches with two teams of 32 players;
- the entire leveling system will be revised, including grenades, kill streaks and bonuses;
- the developers are planning to transfer the multiplayer progression from Black Ops 6.
Since all the details appeared during testing, only some of them may reach the release. Let us remind you that Treyarch is developing the new Call of Duty, the shooter is expected to be released this fall. According to rumors, the game may be released on the old generation of consoles.
