Former Metro Devs Revealed New Details of La Quimera Shooter

Wcctech interviewed Reburn studio (former 4A Games Ukraine), which is developing the sci-fi shooter La Quimera. The team, which once worked on the Metro series, shared new details of the future game.
La Quimera will not have an open world — the developers chose a linear approach to exploring locations. However, players will be able to find caches or interesting places in isolation from the rest of the plot. The campaign was made small, experienced gamers will be able to run the shooter in five hours, but the co-op will allow players to increase the time in the game. The multiplayer mode will allow you to customize the difficulty level for yourself — it will only apply to the player, but it will be balanced for other participants.
La Quimera is being developed on Unreal Engine 4, which was chosen with a multiplayer game in mind. Thanks to the new engine, the shooter received high texture detail and other effects improved in comparison with Metro Exodus.
It is known that La Quimera will receive additional content after its release. Its development is already underway, but Reburn did not share the approximate time frame.
Recall that the events of La Quimera will unfold in Latin America in 2064. The world of the near future is in chaos after a series of disasters, and countries have been fragmented into many small states. Players will have to take part in a large-scale campaign as a mercenary, fighting with rival factions.
La Quimera will be released on April 24 on PC, the game can already be added to the Steam wishlist. The shooter will cost $30. In addition, the developers announced a closed beta test.
