April 30th marked the fourth anniversary of Returnal’s release, and to celebrate, Housemarque has rolled out an update for the PS5 Pro. The enhanced version now supports a resolution with up to 2.5 times more pixels, making the game’s visuals even more stunning.
While many players initially struggled with the roguelite mechanics, Returnal still managed to sell over a million copies, received a PC port, an artbook, and a graphic novel. Housemarque is currently working on a new project, codenamed Saros.
The PS5 Pro update is already available, and owners of the new console should definitely check out the improvements—especially in combat and boss fights, which now look even more spectacular.
Returnal currently holds an 81% positive rating on Steam.
