TeamKill Media has released an extended gameplay video for Code Violet, their upcoming survival horror game inspired by the Dino Crisis series and currently in development for PlayStation 5. The 4K footage showcases the main heroine as she explores eerie environments, solves puzzles, and battles deadly dinosaurs.
The story follows Violet Sinclair, a young woman ripped from her own time and thrust into a bioengineering facility on the planet Trappist 1-E in the 25th century.
After a cataclysm on Earth, the Aeon colony resorts to time travel, abducting women in a desperate bid to save humanity—while hiding a dark secret. Players will have to survive in a world teeming with dinosaurs and hostile forces, solve challenging puzzles, fight prehistoric creatures, and uncover the sinister mysteries of Aeon in hopes of escaping.
The developers promise tense survival gameplay with limited resources, realistic graphics featuring ray tracing, 3D audio, an intriguing narrative, and engaging puzzles.
Code Violet is set to launch in 2025 for PS5. Previously, the developers explained why they decided against a PC version.
