Patch 1.3 has just been released for the PC version of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, which launched on April 3 this year. This latest update focuses on fixing bugs and improving overall game stability.
Here’s what’s new in Patch 1.3:
- Fixed blood visual effects: blood now displays correctly on enemy bodies, and on-screen blood effects no longer disappear during fast camera movements or dodges;
- Resolved an issue with camera flickering when aiming down sights;
- Fixed errors with Steam status display while playing in No Return mode;
- Addressed DualSense controller issues: adaptive triggers now work properly, and the controller no longer loses responsiveness during long play sessions via Steam Input;
- Fixed visual bugs when using FSR Frame Generation and in underwater scenes with upscaling and motion blur enabled;
- Fixed a rare bug where the character could fall through the map while riding a horse;
- Improved visual effects in cutscenes on ultrawide monitors;
- Made enhancements to animations, lighting, and overall game stability.
Previously, a mod was released for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered that lets you play through the entire game as Joel.
