Road to Vostok Dev Showcases New Map, Difficulty Modes, and Dynamic Event System

The creator of Road to Vostok has released a new video showcasing the development progress of the survival shooter. The game now features new difficulty modes, dynamic events, and NPCs. Additional maps are also in the works, with one of them previewed in the video.

The developer shared the project’s roadmap and detailed several planned and implemented features. These include difficulty settings, in-game achievements in the form of patches, a signal flare gun, four types of grenades, three types of laser sights, dynamic events like helicopter crashes, and new characters such as a gunsmith and a bandit leader. The video also reveals the “Apartments” map, which is set to arrive in Early Access soon.

Road to Vostok is currently available to wishlist on Steam. A release date has yet to be announced. Previously, the developer showed off the game’s day-night cycle system and shelter customization.
