EA Confirms New Battlefield Game Will Release Before April 2026 — Details Coming This Summer

Electronic Arts has officially confirmed that the next installment in the Battlefield series will launch before April 2026. The announcement came as part of the company’s Q4 FY2025 financial report. According to EA, upcoming titles like Battlefield, Skate, and The Sims are expected to drive net revenue growth in 2026. More information about the new Battlefield is set to be revealed this summer.

Previously, EA had already stated that the game would be released before April 1, 2026, and this timeline remains unchanged. Notably, the Battlefield release will be announced ahead of GTA 6’s launch in May, giving the game a chance to capture players’ attention.

Additionally, EA shared an update on Battlefield Labs, where the developers revealed that they are expanding the testing environment and inviting more players from Europe, North America, and select regions in Asia.

As a reminder, the Battlefield team recently showcased a new destruction system for the game.
