Fans of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion are in for a treat this year, as the highly anticipated fan-made remake Skyblivion—built in the TES 5: Skyrim engine—is set to launch. Rather than oppose the project, Bethesda Game Studios has shown its support by inviting the development team to its official headquarters.
The Skyblivion developers shared a group photo on Instagram with Todd Howard, taken in front of the studio’s logo and the iconic Alduin’s Wall. The team expressed gratitude for the visit and revealed that Bethesda staff were genuinely impressed by the remake.
Skyblivion is scheduled to release later this year on PC. Previously, Bethesda gifted each developer a copy of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, and comparisons between the two versions have already begun circulating online.
