Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Remaster Announced — First Trailer and Steam Page Live

The remastered edition of the iconic strategy classic, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War — Definitive Edition, has been officially announced. This updated release will feature enhanced visuals, mod support, and a range of modern improvements.
Key features of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War — Definitive Edition:
- Improved visual effects, textures, and lighting;
- Built-in mod manager;
- Modern display support including 4K resolution;
- Unit models upscaled 4x and enhanced draw distance;
- Nine factions, four full campaigns, and over 200 maps;
- Multiplayer support for up to eight players.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War — Definitive Edition is already available to wishlist on Steam and the GOG service. The remaster will launch exclusively on PC later this year.
As a reminder, a remaster of the first Gears of War for PC and consoles was also recently announced.
