Earlier this March, SPINA Studio announced PHASE ZERO, an old-school survival horror game reminiscent of the early Resident Evil titles. The developers have just released a playable demo on Steam, giving players a chance to try out the game ahead of its full launch.
At the time of writing, the demo boasts a 96% positive rating from players.
According to the description, the demo offers around 30–40 minutes of gameplay. You play as a mechanical engineer who wakes up in a hospital just as chaos erupts outside due to a zombie virus outbreak.
The full version of PHASE ZERO will feature two playable characters, with the second being a journalist named Mary. The main story is set in 1994 in the abandoned port town of Flint Peak, now gripped by a raging snowstorm and a mysterious disease that’s turning residents into terrifying monsters.
