Asemblance Goes Permanently Free on Steam — A 'Black Mirror'-Style Game from a Destiny Developer

The adventure game Asemblance, inspired by shows like 'The Twilight Zone,' 'The X-Files,' and 'Black Mirror,' has officially switched to a completely free-to-play model on Steam.
Previously, the game was sold for $8. As of this writing, it holds a 66% positive rating from players.
Asemblance is described as a first-person psychological thriller where the protagonist finds themselves trapped inside an experimental machine capable of simulating memories.
The main character doesn’t remember why they’re there, and a mysterious AI voice offers guidance. In their attempt to escape, the protagonist encounters fragments of the past — which may not even be their own. The game constantly makes players question what’s real and who they truly are.
Notable features include an atmospheric soundtrack by Seattle-based musicians Kid Smpl and Johnny Goss. The project was developed by Niles Sankey, a former Bungie designer who worked on Destiny, Halo: Reach, Halo 3, and Condemned: Criminal Origins.
You can add Asemblance to your Steam library here.
