Deathground, a Horror Game Inspired by Alien Isolation and Dino Crisis, Launches in Early Access This Year

At the Future Games Show: Summer Showcase 2025, a new trailer was revealed for Deathground, a cooperative survival horror game reminiscent of Alien: Isolation and Dino Crisis. The game is scheduled to enter early access between July and September 2025.
Deathground was originally announced back in 2020 by Jaw Drop Games, with an initial release planned for 2021. The game was initially built on Unreal Engine 4, but has since been upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.
In Deathground, players will explore dangerous environments either solo or in co-op with up to four players, all while being hunted by deadly AI-controlled dinosaurs. Key features include terrifying AI-driven reptilian predators, replayable missions, dynamic stealth-based gameplay, tense sessions, and claustrophobic environments.
The game can now be wishlisted on Steam.
