At the PC Gaming Show 2025, Fair Games ApS unveiled a new trailer for Necesse, showcasing the game’s 1.0 release. The full version is set to launch on October 9 this year, marking the end of a six-year journey in Steam Early Access.

The 1.0 release will bring a major update, and the team promises it’ll be something special. The most notable addition is a brand-new seamless world, replacing the familiar island system. Players will now be able to explore a single, infinite world where biomes blend into each other with no loading screens.

Settlements are getting livelier too: villagers now have unique personality traits that influence their behavior. They’ll chat with each other about all sorts of topics—from love to... burgers.

On top of that, the final version of the invasion system will debut, featuring a new progression system that lets you tailor your endgame experience. Expect fresh invasion scenarios, revamped generation, and—at the very end—a showdown with a familiar old foe.

The developers promise to share even more details as the release approaches, but they’re already confident: Necesse 1.0 will be amazing. Of course, they also thanked the community for its support—after all, it’s the players who helped shape the game into what it is today.
