Silent Hill f's Psychological Horror Affected Even Its Lead Actress

The recent rating for Silent Hill f revealed plenty of disturbing details, but the most intriguing aspects are still being kept secret. Recently, voice actress Konatsu Kato shared that the game had a significant impact on her mental state.
A few days ago, Konami revealed the cast of the new Silent Hill game, sharing short messages from each performer. Fans were particularly drawn to the comment from Konatsu Kato, who lent her voice and likeness to the game's main character.
It’s a great honor for me to be part of a project set in Japan. For a long time, I lived in the world of Silent Hill as Hinako, and there were days when I felt like I was losing my mind. Even so, I believe those days were important in the process of bringing this work to life.
Interestingly, Konami noted on the game’s official page that some players may feel unwell due to the content of Silent Hill f. The horror title is set in 1960s Japan, where a girl named Hinako tries to escape a fog-covered town.
Silent Hill f is set to release on September 25 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Pre-orders for all platforms are already available.
