The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered has received the long-awaited 1.1 patch on all current platforms, after previously being available only in beta. The update brings a host of bug fixes and stability improvements, making the game much more reliable overall.
Key fixes include crashes when loading quicksaves, creating multiple potions from stolen ingredients, and switching between windows using Alt+Tab. Character animation bugs when mounting horses have also been addressed. The first-person camera no longer floats above the character’s head, and issues with map markers on a second monitor have been resolved.
On top of that, two new console commands—ToggleHudVisibility and ShowHud—have been added. The patch also tackles quest bugs, technical issues, gameplay tweaks, and UI improvements. On PC, the update weighs in at around 15 GB.
For reference, The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered launched this April on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game currently holds an 80% positive rating on Steam. You can check out our review here.
