Recently, the British actress of Malaysian origin Pik-Sen Lim, known to many for her intros from the Dark Souls games, passed away. The performer also appeared in the cult series Doctor Who.
The news was shared by her colleague Daniel York Loh, who reported that the actress passed away on June 9. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
Throughout her long career, Pik-Sen Lim appeared in numerous theater productions, as well as in the iconic TV series Doctor Who and the comedy film Johnny English Reborn. However, for many gamers, she will always be remembered as the haunting voice narrating the opening sequences of the Soulsborne games, including Dark Souls 3.
At the time of writing, FromSoftware has not yet issued an official statement regarding her passing. Pik-Sen Lim was 80 years old.
