Devolver Digital, Big Fan Games, and Bithell Games have released TRON: Catalyst, an action-adventure title based on Disney’s iconic franchise, for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. To celebrate the launch, the developers dropped a fresh trailer showcasing new gameplay footage.
TRON: Catalyst is an isometric adventure with a strong focus on narrative. Developed by Bithell Games—the studio behind TRON: Identity—the game invites players to step into the role of Exe, a program who gains unique abilities after a mysterious Glitch. As she explores the Arch System, Exe will evade pursuers, get caught up in faction conflicts, travel through neon-lit city streets and beyond, and gradually uncover the source of the world’s instability.
The game features a dynamic combat system that blends melee and ranged attacks, including intense lightcycle battles. Players can upgrade Exe’s abilities, experiment with time loops, discover hidden routes, and shape the story’s outcome. The world of TRON is meticulously crafted, complete with an atmospheric soundtrack and a rich cast of characters, each playing a key role in the unfolding conflict.
TRON: Catalyst is available on Steam for $25. And don’t forget—the new film TRON: Ares premieres this October. You can check out the trailer here.
