Indie developer Godmode Interactive has released the full version (1.0) of Suit for Hire on Steam, a shooter that’s been compared to the John Wick movies and Max Payne series. As of this writing, the game boasts a 93% approval rating.

Suit for Hire is a top-down shooter with an optional third-person view, putting players in the shoes of a contract killer taking on dangerous assignments across a variety of locations. The game blends strategic gunplay, hand-to-hand combat, and tactical resource management.

Players can wield a range of firearms—including pistols, shotguns, and rifles—while also utilizing martial arts moves and brutal finishing attacks. The game features numerous levels, including arenas designed for skill refinement. Its stylish visuals and fast-paced gameplay create a tense atmosphere where every fight demands focus and precision.

The release version introduces a third-person mode and a gameplay modifier system, allowing players to tweak their experience with cheats or increased difficulty. New melee finishers, the Deagle as a new primary weapon, and 15 additional levels have been added. The ranking and post-mission stats systems have been improved, along with the difficulty selection interface.

Suit for Hire now supports Steam achievements and localization in Russian, Ukrainian, Portuguese, German, and Korean. Older levels have received visual upgrades, enemy AI has been enhanced, one of the bosses has been reworked, and controls and aiming—especially on controllers—have been optimized. New sound effects, scoring opportunities, and extra checkpoints have also been introduced.

Suit for Hire is available on Steam for $9 with a 40% discount until July 4.
