Mecha BREAK, a Futuristic Shooter, Launches for Free on Steam and Xbox

The futuristic third-person multiplayer shooter Mecha BREAK has just launched on PC (Steam) and Xbox Series X/S, and it’s completely free to download thanks to its F2P model.

Set in a future where humanity faces the threat of a mysterious mineral called Corite, Mecha BREAK throws players into a world where rapid technological progress has come at a dangerous cost. Corite is not only the key to advancement, but also a deadly pathogen that threatens to consume the entire planet. In the face of impending disaster, pilots from the S.H.A.D.O.W. organization rise up to stop the spread of Corite and save what’s left of civilization.

Players take control of combat mechs across different classes—from assault and sniper to support—battling in fast-paced 3v3, 6v6, and PvPvE modes. The game features both close-quarters and long-range combat, letting you wield melee weapons, energy arms, or missile launchers. The PvPvE mode includes extraction missions with exploration and resource capture in hazardous zones.

Mecha BREAK also offers deep customization for both mechs and pilots, with plenty of visual tweaks and cosmetic upgrades. As you play, you’ll unlock new characters, each with their own backstory and unique role in the unfolding conflict. By the way, an NVIDIA driver for the game is already available.
