New Footage from Canceled Batman: Arkham Knight Sequel Surfaces Online

Following a concept art leak in March, new footage has emerged from the canceled sequel to Batman: Arkham Knight. The clip, featuring a high-speed chase with Killer Croc, was shared by animator Steve Bouliane, who worked on Arkham Knight, Arkham Origins, and Injustice 2.
The footage was highlighted by YouTuber The Atomsmith. In it, Batman pursues Killer Croc on the Batcycle in a short test scene. The sequence uses placeholder models from Arkham Origins and showcases early animation work that was never meant for public release.
Little experiment at very at a very early stage working on what would become Gotham Knights later on. I wanted to try to use slow motion for this shot, fully displaying details in Batman's cape and the shaking generated by the bike on a bumpy road.
The canceled project was reportedly developed under the codename Project Sabbath and was originally intended to feature Damian Wayne as the main protagonist. It was ultimately shelved in 2017 in favor of Gotham Knights.
Notably, Warner Bros. Games recently underwent major restructuring, shifting focus to core franchises like Harry Potter and DC.
