MegaPixel Studio has dropped a brand-new trailer and revealed the release date for The House of the Dead 2 remake, the reimagining of the classic 1998 arcade rail shooter. Get ready to blast some undead, because the game hits digital shelves on August 7th.
The House of the Dead 2: Remake boasts updated graphics, a revamped soundtrack, and two-player co-op for double the zombie-slaying fun. Gameplay-wise, it's staying true to its roots. Players can dive into the story campaign, following agents James Taylor and Gary Stewart as they navigate a zombie-infested Venice, or test their skills in a boss rush mode against the clock.
Currently, the game is slated for release on PC (via Steam and GOG) and Nintendo Switch. The game's Steam page is already live with screenshots, details, and system requirements for those eager to see if their rig can handle the zombie horde.
