Dataminers have reportedly uncovered the possible release date for Battlefield 6. According to the Telegram channel 1BF, the game is slated to launch on October 10 this year, though the leak notes that the date is still subject to change.
There are also rumors of a special edition called the Phantom Edition. Pre-orders are expected to go live on July 31.
As for pricing, the standard edition will cost $70, while the Deluxe Edition will be priced at $100. The game is also set to be available on EA Play PREMIER from day one.
Additionally, there’s word that the battle royale mode will be free to play. Separate downloads will be available for HD texture packs and the single-player campaign.
Of course, these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt. Battlefield 6 is officially set to be revealed on July 24.
