Naughty Dog has released update 1.6 for the PC version of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered. The patch brings a host of bug fixes, various improvements, and addresses control issues, particularly for controller users and those playing on Steam Deck.
Key changes include:
- Fixed an issue where safe and vault codes could skip digits when entering them with keyboard and mouse;
- Resolved a rare bug that blocked story progression, making the pistol invisible during the chase with Ellie and Jesse;
- Exclusive fullscreen and V-SYNC settings now save correctly;
- Fixed a crash in the EGS version when viewing the leaderboard or finishing a No Return challenge;
- Addressed problems with gyro aiming on Steam Deck and controllers using Steam Input;
- Fixed a bow bug — bow draw strength now correctly depends on trigger pressure;
- Eliminated noise from the DualShock 4 speaker that occurred when activating vibration for DualSense;
- Fixed graphical artifacts: seams on corpses in snow, flickering textures in the aquarium, and foliage distortion;
- Improved rifle reticle visibility in high contrast mode;
- Restored Tommy’s sniper rifle scope lens in the "The Marina" chapter;
- Fixed Abby’s running animation bug in the "Ground Zero" chapter;
- Made performance and stability optimizations, along with improvements for ultrawide cutscene display.
The update is available now for download on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
