The creator behind the YouTube channel ElAnalistaDeBits has released a new video comparing Battlefield 6 and Battlefield 2042 in terms of destruction and physics. The footage was captured on PC with an NVIDIA RTX 5090 graphics card and ultra settings.
Here’s what players are saying:
“The destruction seems like a return to Bad Company 2 levels,” — Thebossstage1.
“2042 looks like a bootleg version of a movie you find on a site, recorded by hand on an old iPhone while BF6 is the actual Blu Ray release. Solid beta so far,” — Floodsye.
“BF6 one looks like VFX in movies,” — Landscape.
“Quite literally some of the best destruction physics I probably seen in a video game. JUST WOW!!!!!!!! Impressive,” — nelsonabreu5963.
For reference, Battlefield 2042 launched in 2021 but received heavy criticism from gamers. Battlefield 6 is set to release on October 10 this year for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
The game’s beta testing has just kicked off. By the way, DICE previously confirmed that the series will continue to use the Frostbite engine, as no other engine can deliver this level of destruction.
