Lead concept artist Tony Zenitium, who worked on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, has shared on ArtStation and social media a portfolio image of a mutant that was removed from the game. The Cadaver could have become yet another dangerous foe in the Zone.
According to the artbook description, the Cadaver was another creation of the Zone’s scientists, who sought to engineer the perfect soldier. Despite its recent origin, Cadavers could have easily become the subject of many scary campfire tales told by stalkers.
Recently, GSC Game World announced patches 1.5.3 and 1.6 for the shooter, though there’s still no roadmap for the third quarter.
