With the release of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered, many fans’ dreams of seeing Cyrodiil on a modern engine finally came true. However, the remaster had one major drawback — it retained the scale of locations and cities from the original 2006 game.
Artist and blogger Leo Torres has demonstrated what the Gold Coast capital, Anvil, could look like in Unreal Engine 5 if the remaster — or a potential remake — reflected the city’s true scale. His project features all of Anvil’s recognizable landmarks, including the lighthouse, cathedral, fortress walls, docks, and more, all recreated with realistic proportions.
Previously, Leo Torres showcased Sovngarde from The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim and the High Hrothgar temple in Unreal Engine 5.
