The developers of Mafia: The Old Country have thanked players for their active feedback and announced that they are continuing to work on resolving reported issues. While the main update is still in development, a small hotfix has been rolled out on PC to address a visual freeze affecting certain graphics card models.
Specifically, the patch fixes a bug that caused ground textures to disappear on some GPUs.
As a reminder, Mafia: The Old Country launched on August 8 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game has received mostly positive reviews from players on Steam. Previously, benchmarks were shared online showing how the game performs on graphics cards like the RTX 3060, RTX 4060, GTX 1650, GTX 970, and others.
Additionally, last week Mafia: The Old Country was compared to other games in the series, highlighting the main changes and differences.
