Diana Golenko
Yesterday saw the PC (Steam and GOG) release of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War — Definitive Edition, a remaster of the classic 2004 strategy game. Players have already had a chance to try the project and share their impressions.
At the time of writing, the game holds a 78% positive rating on Steam. Among the "pros," users highlight improved graphics, the ability to run the game on modern systems with widescreen support, a pleasant regional price, and preservation of the original atmosphere. On the "cons" side, players mention poor optimization, numerous bugs, possible use of AI for upscaling, and a general feeling of a low-budget remaster.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War — Definitive Edition is available on Steam with a 10% launch discount for $27. Owners of the Anniversary Edition can upgrade to the final version for $18.
