Suda51's Bloody Action Game Romeo is a Dead Man Gets a Steam Page

Grasshopper Manufacture, the studio founded by the infamous Goichi “Suda51” Suda, is gearing up for its next project. A Steam page has gone live for the bloody action game Romeo is a Dead Man.

Billed as an “ultra-violent sci-fi tale,” the game follows Romeo Stargazer, an FBI agent specializing in space-time phenomena. After a mysterious incident, Romeo sets off across the cosmos in search of criminals—while also trying to reunite with his girlfriend, Juliet.

Players can expect fast-paced combat with swords and guns that evolve over the course of the story. Romeo also wields a special ability called “Bloody Summer,” which requires absorbing enemies’ blood.

Goichi Suda is a Japanese game designer and founder of Grasshopper Manufacture, best known for Killer7 (2005) and the No More Heroes series. He also worked on the cult slasher Lollipop Chainsaw, which recently received a remaster.

Romeo is a Dead Man does not yet have a release date. The game will be localized into nine languages.
