GTX 1650 to RTX 4060: Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater Performance Tested
YouTube channel Karan Benchmarks has gotten its hands on a copy of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and put it through its paces on four different graphics cards: the GTX 1650, RTX 3050, RTX 3060, and RTX 4060.
Here are the test results for the GTX 1650:
- 1080p and "Low" settings – 20 FPS
- 1080p and "Low" settings (FSR 3 in "Quality" mode) – 26 FPS
Here are the test results for the RTX 3050:
- 1080p and "Low" settings – 44 FPS
- 1080p and "Low" settings (DLSS 4 in "Quality" mode) – 55 FPS
- 1080p and "Medium" settings (DLSS 4 in "Quality" mode) – 40 FPS
- 1080p and "High" settings (DLSS 4 in "Quality" mode) – 39 FPS
- 1080p and "Ultra" settings (DLSS 4 in "Quality" mode) – 30 FPS

According to the official system requirements, the game requires at least an Intel Core i5-8600 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super (8 GB) graphics card, and 16 GB of RAM.
As a reminder, critics have already weighed in on the remake. The project received scores of 87/100 on OpenCritic and 86/100 on Metacritic. It was praised for its beautiful graphics, user-friendly controls, and faithfulness to the original. Criticisms included some technical issues and a lack of significant new features.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be released on August 28th for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
