Island Notes, a new survival simulator featuring adult content, has just launched on Steam and is already enjoying a strong reception, boasting an 86% positive rating from players at the time of writing.
Described as an adventure survival game, Island Notes drops players onto a mysterious island after a yacht wreck, where they’ll explore a vast open world filled with caves, abandoned structures, cliffs, and lush flora.
Throughout the game, players can build shelters, farm, hunt, fish, craft weapons and armor, raise pets, and form relationships with NPCs—each with unique voices and adaptive behaviors that respond to your choices.
The island is inhabited by a variety of creatures and mutated beings, while dynamic weather and extreme events keep the gameplay fresh. Players are free to explore both land and ocean depths, unlock character outfits, level up companions, and defend against monster invasions.
Content-wise, Island Notes includes partial nudity, sexual interactions, and scenes of violence, making it intended for mature audiences only.
As a reminder, last month we reported on another survival game on Steam—Dreadzone—which places players in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by mutants.
