Gearbox Releases Animated Short Featuring Harlow from Borderlands 4

2K and Gearbox Software have unveiled an official animated short spotlighting Harlow, one of the new Vault Hunters in Borderlands 4. This marks the final entry in the video series introducing players to the new heroes of planet Kyros.
Harlow is a former Maliwan combat scientist—curious and brilliant, but an outcast among her Traunt family relatives. Using her expertise, she invents new tech and gadgets for battle, all while maintaining her optimism and zest for life.
In the short film, titled Family Reunion, Harlow faces off against the Maliwan corporation to reclaim her own inventions, leading to a confrontation with a member of her own family.
Borderlands 4 launches on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S on September 12 this year, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release slated for October 3.
Recently, we reported on a YouTuber who showcased the game running on a PC powered by a Ryzen 7 9800 X3D and GeForce RTX 5080.
It’s also been confirmed that Borderlands 4 will support DLSS 4 and Reflex technologies, and will be available via the GeForce NOW cloud gaming service.
