Beyond the Map — New Action/RPG Blending Valheim and Diablo Launches in Steam Early Access

A new isometric action/RPG called Beyond the Map has launched in Steam Early Access, drawing comparisons to a mix of Valheim and Diablo. As of this writing, the game boasts an 83% positive rating from players.

Beyond the Map drops players into a post-shipwreck survival scenario on the edge of the sea, inviting them to explore mysterious lands. The game features a classless character progression system, allowing players to learn skills and unlock new core abilities without the constraints of traditional classes. Rare spellbooks can also be found, granting access to unique powers.

Players can build their own base, master various professions for crafting and upgrading weapons and armor, and prepare potions and spells to survive in a challenging environment.

The procedurally generated world offers diverse biomes, each filled with unique enemies, resources, and challenges, making exploration a core part of the experience. A robust building system is also included.
