The YouTube channel GameRiot has released a gameplay video of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl running on PS5 Pro. The creator got hands-on with the demo version at gamescom 2025 and said he was “very impressed” with this build of the game.
As previously announced, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will launch on PlayStation 5 on November 20 — a year after its initial release on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
GSC Game World promises PS5 players full support for DualSense features, including enhanced haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, built-in speaker support, and gyro aiming. Players will also be able to play the guitar using the controller’s touchpad.
The PS5 Pro version will offer visual upgrades, such as improved shadow quality, better reflections, more realistic volumetric fog, and enhanced clouds.
For reference, patch 1.5.3 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl was released earlier this month. You can check out all the changes here.
Additionally, we recently reported on a fan-made trailer for a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. movie adaptation featuring the iconic characters Strelok and Sidorovich.
