New Battlefield 6 Gameplay Showcases Helicopter Battles on Massive Mirak Valley Map

A new Battlefield 6 gameplay video has surfaced online, featuring combat in the Mirak Valley, one of the largest maps in the upcoming shooter. The map includes an entire segment dedicated to aerial warfare, where players provide fire support from above, cover their squads, and engage in dogfights against enemy air forces.
Previously, dataminers uncovered and shared layouts of both Mirak Valley and Eastwood. Judging by their scale, it seems DICE kept their promise after facing criticism about small maps during the beta. At the time, the studio clarified that compact locations were chosen specifically for the open beta, while larger maps would arrive at launch. Now, closed test footage from China confirms that helicopter battles will be a defining feature of Mirak Valley.
Battlefield 6 releases on October 10 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5. Recently, the first cosmetic skins leaked online, showcasing authentic camouflage in line with DICE’s promise of a grounded aesthetic. The developers have also published system requirements for max graphics settings. Our hands-on report from the beta of Call of Duty’s competitor can be found here.
